Yes, that’s right. Uber is giving free bonuses to new drivers. However, in order to qualify for the free bonus, you have to use an Uber Invite Code. The free bonus only applies to new drivers who want to sign up with Uber. Due to high demand nationwide, Uber needs hundreds if not thousands of new drivers to help meet their demands.

For this reason, Uber is willing to pay out cash bonuses up to $1,000 to new drivers. Signing up does not cost anything. On this website I will explain the entire process for you in simple and easy terms. I have been driving with Uber & Lyft for over 2 years. I will share to you my experience and as an approved driver I will also share with you my Uber invite code so you can get the free sign up bonus.

It's a win-win situation. We can both share the bonus. Whatever you do, do not sign up without an invite code! If you do this you will not receive any special bonuses or incentives! If you have any questions you can also email me or call me and I will help guide you through the entire process.

If you’re interested, keep reading. The first thing you need to know is my Uber driver invite code:

b3ym2hxyue

Use this code when you signup to claim your huge sign-on bonuses for new drivers and to receive half of my own bonus. To claim the huge signup bonuses, you can also simply click on the link below and you will automatically be taken to the Uber sign up new driver page. The following link already has the Uber Invite Code applied to it. Go to the following link and sign up:

Note: My Uber driver invite code does not just apply to any particular city or state of the USA. You can use my invite code nationwide. It doesn’t matter if you live in California, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio, etc. My invite code is applicable nationwide and the bonus will be applied to your application. After you finish the online application, and you get approved to drive, earning the bonus is very simple.

You will need to fulfill ride requirements for your local city. The requirement is that you will need to fulfill a certain number of rides within a certain time frame after you are approved. However, depending on where you live, the required number of rides varies.

For example, in most cities Uber requires between 30 to 70 rides within your first 30 days. It’s not really hard to do 30 or even 70 rides in 30 days. I drive for Uber and sometimes I do 25 rides in just one day. You will have 30 days to fulfill 30 to 70 rides. You can give just 3 rides a day and you will clear the bonus requirements. Once you fulfill the requirements, the bonus will automatically be paid out to your bank account via direct deposit.

Then, when Uber gives me a bonus, I will send you half of it (money order) to your mailing address. The good news is that Uber's Referral bonuses are double sided (in most cities). This means both the new driver and the person who referred them, will both receive a cash bonus. If you sign up with my invite code, then I will share my bonus with you.

But you will only receive this bonus if you do the ride requirements. This means you will receive a bonus up to $1,000 simply for giving 30 to 70 rides to people in your area within your first 30 days of joining Uber.

Note: You can give these rides whenever you want. One of the great advantages of driving for Uber is that it is extremely flexible. You work whenever you want. You simply login when you want to drive, and log off when you have other things to do.

Uber new driver promotion for 2016

Anyone who has a driver’s license and meets the vehicle requirements can sign-up to Uber as a new driver and qualify for the sign-on bonus after giving 30 to 70 rides within their first month. That’s really easy money!

Note: Uber’s sign-on bonuses are constantly changing. However, due to high demand and growth, Uber is still in need of hundreds if not thousands of new drivers nationwide to help fulfill their demand and growth. For this reason, the $1,000 new driver free sign up bonus offered by Uber will most likely continue throughout 2016.

Note: Remember, the sign-up bonus is just an incentive. You will still get paid separately for every ride you do!

For example, let's say you do 60 local rides in your first 30 days and you average around $7 for each ride. In this example, Uber will pay you around $420 for the rides you did, and then they will give you up to a $1000 bonus for doing more than 50 rides in your first 30 days. This means with just 60 rides, a driver can receive up to $1,420 from Uber!

However, using the same example, let's say you sign up to drive for Uber without an invite code and you do the same 60 rides. You will still get paid the $420, but you will NOT get the $1,000 bonus! Now you understand why it's important to sign up with an invite code!

Other reasons you should sign up to Uber as a New Driver

Ok so now you understand just how much bonus money you can get for signing up to Uber as New Driver and doing 30 to 70 rides within your first 30 days. However, there are other reasons why you should consider signing up as a new driver with Uber:
10 Reasons why you should driver for Uber

1. Uber is very flexible. I have a full time day job and I drive for Uber (and Lyft) on weekends and sometimes nights or early mornings. It’s great to be able to work whenever I want. I won’t get fired if I don’t feel like driving today because I’m feeling a bit under the weather. With Uber you drive whenever you want.

2.  The job is not hard. If you like to drive, then you will like driving for Uber. Customer service is also important, as passengers will give you good reviews for good service. However, unlike other jobs where you may have to do physically hard labor, with Uber all you do is drive.

3.  Earn around 80% of whatever you earn from the rides you do. Uber will take around 20% of what you earn. The number varies due to surges and other factors. However, most drivers keep around 80% of all the fares they do. For example, if you made $200 in fares today, you keep around $160 and Uber keeps around $40. In contrast, many traditional taxi drivers keep only 35% to 50% of what they earn.

4.  Get paid with direct deposit. Uber pays you by direct deposit. All the money you earn from your fares will be deposited to your bank account every week.

5. Take time off whenever you want. You can take a vacation whenever you want. You don’t need to ask for permission or anything. It’s like owning your own business. Take off for a week and come back and your job is still there!

6. Make new friends. Driving for Uber also gives you the opportunity to meet people in your own community. Many Uber drivers use this opportunity to network or even make contacts for job prospects.

7.  Uber allows you to relocate to any U.S. State. Uber is nationwide. This means if you want to relocate to another state, but don’t want to worry about finding a job, you can relocate and drive for Uber while you search for work at the same time. In every U.S. State the requirements are very similar, and all you really need is a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Note: There are a few exceptions like NYC where you also need a TLC (Taxi & Limousine) License to drive for Uber. However, in most U.S. Cities and States a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle is all you need.

8.  You are your own boss. You work independently and don’t have to worry about having a boss looking over your shoulder all the time.

9.    You have the freedom to choose what days you want to work and what hours you want to work. Driving for Uber is like owning your own business. You will be independent.

10. Referral income - with Uber not only can you make money driving, but you can also make some extra money by referring friends to become new drivers or passengers. This way you can make extra money.

Ok, now that I covered reasons why you should sign-up with Uber as a new driver, let me go into details on how to be eligible as a driver for Uber.

In order to drive for Uber, you must meet a few requirements:

     1. You must be at least 21 years old

     3. You must pass a background check

     9.  You must show proof of your vehicle’s personal auto insurance
     10.            You will need a bank account. Uber only pays via direct deposit.

UPDATE: If you don't have a car, Uber (and Lyft) now offer car financing and rental programs for people who want to drive for Uber and don't have a car. With these options, you may be able to qualify for a car loan, lease or a car rental. For example, Uber has teamed up with Enterprise Car Rental, and have formed the Uber Enterprise Partnership Program. With this program, you can rent a car from Enterprise and use it to drive for Uber. However, your first step is to first sign up with Uber (or Lyft) with the invite code. Once you are registered, then you can go to your nearest Enterprise office or contact Uber for more information on Car Loans/Leases.

That’s it. If you meet all of these requirements, then you can sign-up in a matter of minutes and start the process for becoming a new Uber driver. After you apply, the approval process and background check may take a few days or up to 2 weeks (in some cases). However, once you are approved you can start making some money in your spare time and also qualify for the free $1,000 new driver bonus!

If you want to start your new quest to becoming an Uber driver and claim your free bonuses, click on the link below and fill out the online application. The following link already has my Uber Invite Code so you the huge bonus will be applied to your account:

Information on Filling out Uber online Application

Applying to drive for Uber is not hard. The online application is very simple. Just remember that you need to meet the vehicle requirements and pass the background check. Uber also saves all your information, so don’t worry if you need to log off and return to your account later.

Steps to becoming a new driver with Uber

Step 1 How to sign up with Uber as a new driver and claim your free bonus

As explained previously, you will need to first apply online with Uber. If you apply without an Uber Invite Code, then you can still drive for Uber but you will not receive any sign-up bonus. This means you will lose around $1,000 in free bonus money from Uber.

However, if you apply with the Uber Invite Code you will qualify for the $1,000 bonus as it will be applied to your account. The following link already has the Uber Invite Code included, so the bonus will be applied to your account. Here is the link:

After you click on the link, you will be taken to the Uber driver application page. The Uber Invite Code is already included so you don’t even have to write it. All you have to do is fill out the basic information they ask for such as: name, email, phone number, city, etc. After you fill out your basic information, you will also need to upload a picture of your vehicle docs (insurance card, registration card, etc.)

Note: You will also have to submit your social security number. Uber will pay you as a 1099 (Independent Contractor) and yes the income is taxable and it will be reported to the IRS. Every driver has to submit this information. You will also need to submit your bank account number as Uber only pays via direct deposit.

Note: If you don’t have a bank account, you may be able to use a prepaid card, as long as the card has a bank account number and routing number. Then you can receive the payments directly on your card. However, it is always best to use a bank account as many prepaid cards charge high fees.

If they ask for a referring Uber driver invite code you can write down the code manually. However, if you click on the following Uber sign-up link page:

Then my Uber driver invite code should be already included. However, if you don’t see my invite code on the sign-up page, or if they ask you to write the invite code manually, then you can enter it manually. Here is my Uber Invite Code:

b3ym2hxyue

You will also need to create a password so you can login and manage your account. Please make sure to write down your password somewhere safe because you will need this to manage your account.

Note: Remember, if you do not have my Uber Invite Code on your application, you will not receive any bonus from Uber and I will also not be able to send you half of my own bonus, regardless of how many rides you do in your first month. In plain math, without my Uber Invite Code your total bonus potential will be => 0. With my Uber Invite Code, your total bonus potential will be up to => $1,000. That’s a big difference!

Step 2 Gather your vehicle docs and other necessary docs

Of course without a vehicle you will not be able to driver for Uber. It’s important that you have all your vehicle information ready when you sign up to Uber.

You will need the following information for your vehicle:

     1. Your vehicle insurance information. You will have to scan or take a picture of your insurance card, registration card and driver’s license

    2.  Your vehicle year, make, model. You will need to take pictures of the exterior and interior of your vehicle and upload it to your account. The picture of your vehicle is important as it will help riders identify your vehicle when you pull up to pick them up. This helps avoid confusion as other riders may accidently enter your vehicle.

     3.  Your bank account number and routing number

    4.  You will need a picture (headshot) of yourself. Don’t forget to smile!

Note: If your vehicle is not registered in your name, you can still drive for Uber (in most states) as long as you are listed on the vehicle’s insurance policy. For example, if the vehicle you intend to use with Uber is registered in your wife or husband’s name you can still use it as long as you are on your wife or husband’s (or other family member) auto insurance policy.

Step 3 Upload your docs and personalize your Uber Account page

After you sign up with Uber, you will now need to create and manage your own Uber account. This is how you will be able to track your earnings, rides, promotions, etc. You can go directly to Uber’s website and simply click on “sign in as a driver.”

Note: Uber’s website also has a “sign in as a passenger.” As a driver, you will need to click on the “sign in as a driver.”

Once you are registered, you can log in and log off whenever you want. Simply enter the email you used (in the username box) when you signed up and enter the password your created and click on “log in as a driver.” You can log off and come back when you have your vehicle docs in order.

Once you have all your docs ready, go back to your account, log in and upload any necessary docs such as your bank account number, routing number, registration card, etc. If you have a scanner at home, scan a copy of your driver’s license, insurance card, etc. and upload them to your Uber account page. If you don’t have access to a scanner, use your smartphone and take a picture of all the docs you need.

Then simply use your phone charger cable and connect it to a PC and then upload your docs. Once you have the docs organized, upload them to your account. You can do all this while you wait for your background check to be approved.

Step 4 Pass the background check

In order to become a driver for Uber, you will need to submit and pass a background check. If you have a clean record, then you should have no issues with the background check. However, some patience is needed as the background check can take anywhere from a few days to up to 2 weeks.

I actually waited 1 week to pass the background check. However, once you pass the background check you are good to go. However, if you have a DUI, felony, or other major issue on your record, you will most likely not be approved. If you have points on your license you can still apply and pass the background check, as long as your license is in good standing.

However, there is no guarantee that everyone who applies will be approved. However, you have nothing to lose by trying. There is no cost to apply to drive for Uber. There is no cost to run the background check with Uber.

Note: If more than 2 weeks go by and you receive no answer from Uber (they should send you a confirmation email after you pass the background check to the email you used when you signed up) then kindly send Uber support an email asking for information on your background check.

Step 5 You will need to download the Uber Driver App

In order to drive for Uber, you will need to download the Uber Driver App on your iPhone or Android. This is why you need an iPhone or Android phone to drive for Uber. The App is necessary in order for all drivers to communicate with passengers and manage their earnings, referrals, etc.

You can also login to your account via the Uber website, however, when you’re on the road driving you will need to use the Uber Driver App to give rides to passengers.

With Lyft, drivers and passengers use the same App on their smartphones. However, Uber does things a little different. Uber and Lyft have many similarities. However, one of the main differences between Uber and Lyft is that with Uber the Driver App and the Passenger App are completely different and separate.

Passengers who want to use Uber will need to download the “Uber Passenger or Rider App” onto their smartphones. This is how they connect with the Uber platform and with Uber drivers in their area. Likewise, new drivers who want to drive for Uber will need to download the “Uber Driver App” on their smartphones.

This will connect the new driver on the Uber platform and will enable him or her to find local passengers/riders who need a ride. On the App you will be able to manage and view your earnings, rides, promotions, etc. The good thing is downloading the App is easy and Uber will walk you through step by step.

Step 6 Watch the Uber driver training videos while you wait for the background check.

While you are waiting for your background check to clear, Uber will require that you watch the Uber driver training video series. Uber calls these particular videos “Uber Partner Information Videos.”

These videos are good because they will give you a good idea of how Uber works. These videos go into the details of picking up customers, dropping off customers, etc. Driving for Uber is not rocket science, the job is relatively simple and easy. It’s kind of like driving a taxi but you will be using your own car. As you can see, it’s not that hard to learn.

After a few days of driving for Uber, you will be a pro. However, I recommend that you watch the videos carefully as those small details can make a big difference in your earnings.

In most cases Uber will not allow you to use an Invite Code once you already signed up. All though it is possible to email Uber support and explain to them that you forgot to enter an invite code, in most cases they will deny your claim. However, I know of someone who was able to get Uber to apply an invite code to their application, but he did so a few days after applying.

The more time that passes, the more difficult it will be to convince Uber support to apply an invite code to your application. That's why the best strategy is to enter an invite code when you fill out the application, this way you are ensuring that you qualify for a free cash bonus up to $1,000! There is no point in applying without an invite code because you are basically throwing hundreds of dollars away.

If you want to assure that you qualify for the $1,000 free sign up bonus from Uber, then it is advisable that you use the Uber Invite Code when you sign up.

Up to now I have told you all the good stuff, but of course, like nearly every job out there, there are always some negatives also. And at this point I will review some of the negatives of driving for Uber:

Some of the negatives of driving for Uber

     1.  Wear and tear on your vehicle. The more you drive with Uber, the more wear and tear on your vehicle. Unfortunately, this is a norm for this industry. It’s very similar to a truck driver who is an owner operator and uses his own truck for transporting cargo. You are responsible for the maintenance of your own vehicle. However, my advice is to always have a few hundred dollars in savings to help fix any problems that you may encounter down the road with your car. Mechanical repairs can be expensive so always save for a rainy day. However, if you drive a late model vehicle you should not have any major issues.

     2.  You will have to spend money on gas, oil changes, tire rotations, vehicle maintenance, etc. All of this can add up, especially if you drive full time. My advice is keep receipts of all expenses. You may be able to deduct these expenses when you file your income taxes. This can help you save on your taxes.

     3.  Uber has a rating system. Customers can rate your service. While most riders are honest and will give you good ratings based on good service, you will encounter a few bad apples. Unfortunately, like most customer service jobs, you will always have your fair share of bad apples. But this applies to nearly every job that requires interaction with the public. However, if you provide good customer service, you will most likely have good ratings.

    4.  Taxes. That’s right. You are a 1099 Independent Contractor with Uber. This means during tax time you will have to pay taxes on income earned with Uber. However, as I mentioned earlier, keep copies of all your expenses.

Note: I cannot stress how important it is that you keep track of all your expenses. As a 1099 independent contractor, you are entitled to tax deductions. Keep receipts of miles driven, gasoline receipts, car maintenance receipts, etc. All of these deductions can help reduce your tax liability considerably. I also advise that you set aside at least 10% of your Uber income aside for tax liabilities.

Disclaimer: I am not an accountant. Please seek the advice of a competent tax professional or accountant for any questions you have regarding taxes while working as a 1099 independent contractor.

Is Uber still worth it?

Ok now I covered some of the negative things about driving for Uber (or any rideshare company). However, I think Uber (and Lyft) are still worth it. I personally think the positives outweighs the negatives. Uber is not perfect, however, I think it’s still worth it because of the flexibility which allows me to work whenever I want.

I have a regular full time job and I only drive for Uber mostly on weekends. However, the flexibility of driving is great because I am able to work around my schedule. Besides this, the job itself is not hard, I just give rides to people in my car. However, rideshare driving is not perfect and it does have some inconveniences.

As a driver of course you are required to pay for gas, oil changes, taxes, etc. I know how much expenses a driver can spend especially if he or she drives full time. However, it’s also important to understand that every city and state is different. Uber rates and fares vary from city to city and from state to state. In some states, Uber drivers earn higher incomes (fares are higher) than in other states. So where you live is also a factor.

However, if you want to join Uber and make some extra money then I recommend it. Will you get rich from Uber? No, most likely not. But you can make some extra money and if you do it full time in some cities like NYC, Silicon Valley, Seattle or San Francisco you can make a very good income.

Note: Remember, you need to fulfill the ride requirements to get your free bonus. If you sign-up with Uber using an Uber Invite Code, and you never give any rides, you won’t get the free bonus. In most cities the ride requirement to obtain the sign up bonus is from 30 rides to 70 rides. However, you will have 30 days to complete these rides. If you do just 3 rides a day, you will qualify for the free cash bonus easily.

Why should you sign up with my invite code?

As an Uber driver, I know the expenses associated with wear and tear, gasoline, etc. For this reason, I don't mind sharing my own bonus with new drivers. This is my way of saying "thank you" for signing up with my invite code. I think it's a win-win situation. Most drivers will not give any part of their bonus to a new driver.

However, I don't mind sharing my bonus with any new driver who signs up with my invite code. Feel free to email me or text or call me with any questions you have regarding the sign up process or driving tips, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Cell Phone: 908 422 9620

Note: If you are interested in signing up with Lyft, I also offer the same deal. If you sign up with my Lyft Invite Code, you will get a bonus from Lyft and I will also give you half of my own bonus. This way you will also qualify for a total free sign up bonuses up to $1,000.

However, in some cities with huge demand like Los Angeles Lyft is offering up to $5,000 in new driver bonuses, however, you would have to do a very high number of rides.

Lyft is also currently offering $1,500 for new drivers in Seattle and $2,000 for new drivers in Orange County, California. But you would have to do around 500 rides in your first 2 months.

To sign up with my invite code with Lyft and qualify for the free sign up bonuses from Lyft and also half of my own bonus, you can do so at the following link. My Lyft invite code is already applied on this website:

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ’s

Why drive for Uber?

Remember, Uber is the fastest growing rideshare company in the world. Uber is so successful that many traditional taxi and limo companies are losing business to Uber in many cities nationwide. Many passengers also prefer Uber over traditional taxis because in most cases the fairs are cheaper and the customer service is better.

What do you need to be a successful Uber Driver?

As mentioned previously, you will obviously need a reliable vehicle and a smartphone. However, if you don’t like to drive you may not be a good fit for rideshare driving. If you enjoy driving than you may be a good fit for rideshare driving.

Driving passengers also requires responsibility, safety and good customer service skills. Always drive safely and never rush or try to “beat” the light. This is dangerous and can lead to an accident. Even though Uber allows you to drive in any city of your state, I recommend you start in an area your familiar with.

GPS technology is very useful and I always use it, but if you start out driving in an area your familiar with, you will know the short cuts and the back roads. By using short cuts and the back roads, you won’t have a need to rush. When you rush you also put more wear and tear on your vehicle.

If you live in an area with a lot of pot holes or bad roads, try to avoid the roads that are in bad shape. When you drive at normal speed, you will have enough time to avoid many pot holes and thus reduce the wear and tear on your car. When you change shift in your car, also do so in a slow and patient manner.

I always count 2 or 3 seconds after shifting from drive-to-reverse-to-park, to give my transmission time to adjust. All of this is only going to help expand the life of your vehicle. As an Uber driver, you also need to make sure your car is in good working order and all safety features work. I recommend getting a tune-up and having your mechanic inspect your vehicle at least once a year.

Make sure to change your oil every 3,000 miles (for regular engine oil) and 5,000 miles (for synthetic oil). Also consider rotating your tires every 5,000 miles, as this will prolong the life of your tires, enabling you to save money in the long run. Shop around to find an honest, affordable mechanic. Finding a good mechanic who is honest is also very important for you in the long run as this will help you save hundreds even thousands in car maintenance and repairs.

Since your vehicle is the tool of your trade, you need to take good care of it so you can work for the long haul. Otherwise, a major car problem can put you out of work immediately. Unfortunately, this comes with the territory and the best way to prepare for this is a) have some savings for emergency car repair b) practice smart car maintenance methods and c) find an affordable, honest mechanic.

This is what I did and it has helped reduce my costs and help me feel more comfortable driving my vehicle for business purposes. For example, I live in New Jersey and I have a mechanic who charges me just $35 to rotate all 4 tires and balance them. His prices are fair and honest, and this has helped me save money on my rideshare business.

You need to treat your rideshare gig as a business. Keep expenses low and profits high. You should make sure your mechanic gives you a thumbs up and also make sure to check your lights, seatbelts, doors, windows, etc. You want to make sure that your passengers will be safe. Your vehicle will also need personal auto insurance.

Uber maintains and industry-leading coverage of $1 million dollars for commercial auto coverage on every rideshare trip that you do. However, rideshare is still a relatively new industry, and in some states, rideshare driving carries some risk in the form of gaps in your personal auto insurance.

If possible, try to find an insurance company in your state that offers rideshare auto insurance. Some state have insurance companies that now offer rideshare insurance. However, the premium may be higher than your personal auto insurance. However, it’s still cheaper than commercial driving insurance.

How much can you make with Uber?

Earn money by giving rides

How much you make with Uber depends on many factors. One thing to consider is how much you make with Uber is not the same as how much profits you will have after expenses. Remember, you have to take into account your expenses and also tax liabilities.

Another factor is where you live. In some cities like NYC the fares are higher so drivers can make more money. For example, you may drive in a city or state where Uber charges passengers $5 for a 5 mile ride. While another driver may drive in a city or state where Uber charges passengers $7 for a 5 mile ride.

The driver who earns $7 for every 5 mile ride will most likely make more money than the driver who earns $5 for a 5 mile ride. Also, surges and promotions can increase your income. Uber will usually pay drivers more during the busiest times of the day (Surge pricing).

Usually in the early mornings, late nights and weekends drivers earn more than during other times of the day. The bottom line is Uber will take around 20% of your fares, and you will keep around 80% of your fares. If you can book $150 a day with Uber, you will walk away with around $120 in earnings. However, after expenses (gas, tax liability, etc.) you will have around $100 profit.

Is this great? No, but it’s not bad either. Consider the state of our current economy, with high unemployment and many people struggling to get by, at least with Uber you can realistically make $100 profit a day driving 6 to 8 hours. However, this depends on where you live and also what times during the day (surge time) you drive (when demand is high).

Remember, Uber pays higher during “Surge Pricing” when there are few drivers on the road and the demand for rides (riders) is high. This is usually in the early morning (7 am to 9am), late night (9pm and later) or weekends. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t make money during the other times of the day.

Currently, I drive whenever I am free which is mostly on the weekends, and it’s usually busy. Uber can also be useful if you are in between jobs, or you are looking for a job in your career, and are currently unemployed. I know a few people who drive full time for Uber during periods of unemployment, and once they get a job in their career, they drive for Uber on weekends only.

Another strategy is to find the best places to drive in your city. Airports, train stations, universities, nightclubs, tend to be the best spots to “hang out” in. While you wait for a fare, you should try to hang around the “hotspots” where demand is high. However, after you gain experience driving with Uber you will know where are the best areas to hang around in are, and which areas are not so good and have low demand.

How does the Uber App Work?

The Uber driver app is easy to use. After you sign-up to drive with Uber, Uber will show you a few videos that will show you how to use the driver app. But the basics of the Uber app is: a request comes in, you accept it or reject it. If you accept it, the app will guide you turn-by-turn to the passenger.

Once you arrive at the passenger’s location, you press a button on the app and this will inform the rider of your arrival. When they get in your car, you begin the trip and after you drop them off at their destination, you press a button that says “arrived.” It’s really very simple.

Note: If you have your own GPS you can also have this in your car as a backup. I also recommend you download Google maps on your smartphone, as this app can also help you with directions.

Contacting Uber

Uber wants it's drivers to contact them via the support link inside the Uber driver App. Uber will usually respond to any major issue that you may have. However, you may have to be patient. In some states Uber does have an office where you may be able to contact them directly.

Learning to use your Uber Driver Portal

Once you become an approved driver, you will have full access to your Uber Driver App (or Portal) where you will sign in whenever you want to start driving. Once you sign in, you may have to wait a few minutes for ride demands to start. Once ride demands start, you can accept rides and start driving.

But you can also use your Uber Driver Portal to view information of your vehicle, your trip history, you earnings, the insurance coverage Uber offers for the riders, and also you’re Uber Driver Promo Code. Everything you need to know about your Uber Driving account is located right there, in your Uber Driver Portal.

Conclusion

In conclusion, signing-up and becoming a new Uber driver is not a hard process, but it will take a few days (or up to 2 weeks) to become approved and start driving. If you wish to become an Uber and you are interested in the free new driver bonus, and also get a money order from me, don't forget to use my invite code.

Good luck!
